The clear German keyboard stickers feature German characters on the right side which allows you to convert a PC desktop or laptop keyboard to a bilingual keyboard. The stickers are available in green German letters (for beige or light colored keyboards) and white German letters (for black keyboards). The opaque black German keyboard stickers feature white German letters in the primary position on each key. The sticker set allows you to convert a standard PC desktop or laptop keyboard to a Windows single language German keyboard layout.
We also sell German keyboards. Information on German keyboards.
Language Compatibility. The German keyboard stickers are compatible with the Windows German keyboard layouts used in Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Lower Sorbian, and Upper Sorbian.
Hardware compatibility for clear stickers. Most keyboards feature the printed characters in the upper left corner of the key or the left side of the key. However, some keyboards, such as Logitech® standard keyboards, feature printing in the middle of the key. The German stickers are compatible with both keyboard styles. When the sticker printing might interfere with the original print on the key, we include two stickers; you simply choose which sticker works best for your keyboard.
Windows Compatibility. The German keyboard stickers are compatible with the German keyboard layouts in Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8. The stickers may be compatible with other versions of Windows, but they have not been tested to ensure compatibility.
You don't need a German keyboard to type German in Windows. Install German stickers on your keyboard to create a bilingual German keyboard that works with Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8.
See instructions on how to install the stickers and configure Windows for  German.
